Breastfeeding and Complementary Feeding

In Ethiopia sub-optimal infant and young child feeding (IYCF) practices result in early death, illness, and high rates of stunting. Alive & Thrive (A&T) aims to improve IYCF by reaching 5.4 million children under 2 years old primarily through intensive community-based interventions in the four most populous regions.

The 7 spots, directed to Ethiopian men, each focus on a critical feeding practice and correlate good farming practices and good feeding practices through agrarian analogies. The aim is to create support for the actions and fulfill fathers' desire for smart, healthy, and strong children. They focus on 7 themes related to infant and young child feeding practices.
