Newborns die at alarming rates in the developing world, nearly 4 million every year. Most can be saved with low-cost, low-tech interventions. This newborn care series brings alive these lifesaving interventions in a memorable and engaging way to help health workers learn and save newborn lives.

This film shows the correct and safe way to feed a baby with a gastric tube. It highlights involving the mother and features a chart that shows the volume of milk to give at each feeding according to the day of life.

The primary audience are frontline health workers in primary and district level facilities. This video was filmed in Nigeria and the Dominican Republic.
