The No Excuses campaign
is an integrated high-impact multi-lingual communications campaign designed to prevent violence and abuse within families targeted at the abuser. The campaign consists of 11 animated shorts of 30 seconds each.
The aim of the campaign is to create these videos in 73 languages, thereby enabling a potential reach of over about 85% of the world's population, or about 5.75 billion people, in their own language.
The No Excuses campaign was created by a team of volunteers led by Firdaus Kharas, who was Executive Producer and Creative Director. There were five producers, Caitlin Delaney (Canada), Jesse Cressman-Dickinson (Canada), Firdaus Kharas, Jasmine El Mulki (Switzerland) and Brent Quinn (South Africa). Brent Quinn was also the head writer.
